Dr. Sadie Ahanchi is a distinguished vascular surgeon dedicated to enhancing vascular care in Fredericksburg and beyond.
An Illinois native, she earned her M.D. from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, followed by a general surgery residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Chicago. She completed her vascular surgery fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) and later served on its faculty for a decade. In 2022, she became Fredericksburg’s only private practice vascular surgeon.
Dr. Ahanchi has received prestigious awards, including the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery Founders Award. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and is among fewer than 300 female vascular surgeons in the U.S. She remains active in the American College of Surgeons and the Society for Vascular Surgery.
She provides compassionate, personalized care, collaborating with Oracle’s cardiologists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment.
Outside work, she enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring Fredericksburg with her twin boys.
